Our collaboration began a few years ago with a partial rebrand and evolved into a close partnership with their marketing team, working together to drive customer engagement. Our mission was clear: redefine Rocketseed’s brand vision, enhance its digital presence, and drive significant customer engagement.

Developing a New Brand Vision

Our journey began with extensive market research and competitor analysis. We immersed ourselves in understanding market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. The insights gathered culminated in the “Rocketseed 2023 Brand Vision,” a comprehensive strategy we presented to the board. This vision, approved as the strategic direction forward, set the foundation for redefining Rocketseed’s brand and market positioning.

Executing the Brand Strategy

With the new brand vision in place, we collaborated closely with the Rocketseed team to implement the strategy across all marketing channels. This involved refining the brand’s messaging, visual identity, and overall positioning to align with the evolving market and customer expectations. We focused on creating compelling content and campaigns that resonated with the target audience and highlighted Rocketseed’s unique value propositions.

Content Creation and Campaigns

A significant aspect of our contribution was content creation for critical initiatives like the Cloud launch. We authored most of the text and assets, including detailed technical FAQs and translating complex technical terms into accessible language. This approach ensured broader audience understanding and engagement.

East & Ascent produced nearly all the videos currently featured on the Rocketseed website and many insightful blog posts. Our content strategy aimed to educate, engage, and position Rocketseed as a thought leader in the industry. One notable campaign, “Business Emails Without Banners? That’s Like Times Square Without Billboards!,” was designed to encourage U.S. clients to consider comprehensive email branding solutions beyond just signatures.

Enhancing Digital Marketing and SEO

Understanding the critical role of a strong online presence, we worked closely with the SEO team and our Malaysian partner, Growth Pro, to devise and implement an AI-driven marketing strategy. This collaborative effort resulted in a remarkable 95% increase in website traffic compared to the previous year. We adapted the content strategy to focus more on AI, ensuring that Rocketseed’s content remained relevant, engaging, and forefront of industry trends.

Optimising the Website Experience

In January 2023, we conducted a thorough website review, identifying key areas for improvement. We helped implement user experience enhancements through A/B testing and research. Collaborating with Growth Pro, we worked on restructuring the website to make it more user-friendly. Upcoming changes to the navigation menu are set to address usability issues further, enhancing the overall visitor experience within the limitations of the existing platform.

Driving Lead Generation and Conversion

Recognizing the need to convert increased marketing attention into tangible leads and sales, we focused on strategies to engage potential customers earlier in their buying journey. We developed an interactive “Email Optimizer Quiz,” designed to capture interest and provide value, although it’s still a work in progress. Through customer journey mapping, we analyzed drop-off points—particularly on the pricing page—and strategized solutions to mitigate them. Discussions with key stakeholders led to plans for projects specifically aimed at improving lead conversion rates.

Expanding Marketing Channels

To broaden Rocketseed’s reach, we created a comprehensive channel plan to diversify marketing efforts and engage audiences across different platforms. East & Ascent has also started producing videos for Rocketseed’s video-based channel, and we plan to increase video output.

Planning for the Future

We played a pivotal role in developing the marketing plan for 2024, focusing on executing strategies that drive measurable results. During the 2025 planning session—which we joined after our retainer had ended—we identified the need to shift focus from top-of-funnel activities to strategies that convert increased attention into leads and sales. Acknowledging that pricing and product positioning significantly impact conversion rates, we are working on projects to address these issues and improve overall performance.
